Hello,. This is the sample pack that i completed for the sound design course at slam academy. The theme of this pack is sounds that could be used to make melancholy and dark sounding music, but use however you see fit. I recorded this to use as a sound effect in a play called "pentecost". The sounds i recorded were made by a college class in a theatre. I used a crown sass to make this recording. Here it is mixed with a sound clip from syna-max called war with other sounds as well to create the finished effect for the part of the play where the painting explodes. I also have just the crowd noise on here. After that the police jumed through the wall and started shooting people and i played a sound by matt_g called m240.

It's a recording of sounds of an old store refridgerator. The recorder (zoom h2) was put into the fridge. There are sounds of fridge getting opened and closed, started up and stopped. It was recorded in a dance studio, hence the music in the background audible in the beginning. Lots of interesting noises this fridge makes. Recorded with zoomh2 rear mics from inside of the fridge. Looking at the spectrogram waveform display of https://freesound. Org/people/ivolipa/sounds/344948/ i noticed a few patterns. Distinct bands of high volume at around ~600hz, ~1200hz, ~1800hz, the fade in volume toward higher frequencies, a ubiquitous noise, and the soft staccato rhythm. Using these facts, i tried to make yet another engine sound with fm-synthesis. Sound forge 7 — to my knowledge — lacking a spectrogram, i've no clue if this was a successful attempt, but it does have a vaguely engine-like sound.
